Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Latis (the "Service"), operated by Latis Trading, an Australian sole trader ("Latis", "we", "us"). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What Latis is

Latis is execution infrastructure: it runs trading bots against rules you configure or against a Latis-run managed strategy you opt into, and can place orders on cryptocurrency exchanges using API credentials you connect. Latis does not manage your funds, take custody of your assets, or act as a broker — your exchange account, and everything in it, remains yours and stays with your exchange at all times.

Latis is not financial advice. Nothing in the Service, including managed strategies, signals, or any content we publish, is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. You are solely responsible for every trading decision made through your account, whether configured by you or executed by a managed strategy you subscribed to.

3. Risk

Trading cryptocurrency is volatile and carries a real risk of loss, including total loss of the capital allocated to a bot. Automated execution can amplify losses as readily as gains — software bugs, exchange outages, network failures, slippage, and market conditions no strategy anticipated can all result in losses. Paper (simulated) mode is available and is the default for new bots specifically so you can evaluate a strategy before risking real funds; switching a bot to live trading is a deliberate action you take at your own risk. Past performance, simulated or real, is never a guarantee of future results.

4. Your account

You must be at least 18 and legally able to trade in your jurisdiction to use Latis. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Exchange API keys you connect are encrypted at rest; we strongly recommend creating them without withdrawal permission — Latis automatically pauses any bot whose connected key is detected with withdrawal access, but the key itself is still something only you control.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Core and Pro subscriptions start with a 30-day free trial. A payment method is required to begin the trial, but nothing is charged during it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial and your payment method is charged the plan price shown at signup. You can cancel at any time during the trial from your billing page and you won't be charged. One-off (pay-once) plans are a single up-front payment and don't include a trial or renew automatically.

Paid plans and any managed-strategy management fee are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe, our payment processor. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your chosen payment method until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your billing page; cancellation stops future billing but doesn't refund the current billing period — see our Refund Policy for details. We may change plan pricing with notice; continuing to use a paid plan after a price change takes effect means you accept the new price.

6. Managed strategies

Managed strategies are trading logic Latis runs and pushes signals for; subscribing lets your own bots act on them. They carry the same risks as any other strategy under Section 3, are not tailored to your individual circumstances, and may be changed, paused, or retired by Latis at any time.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use Latis to violate any law or your exchange's terms of service, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or share your account with someone else. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Latis is not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including losses caused by strategy performance, exchange downtime, or software defects. Nothing in this section excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (or equivalent mandatory law in your jurisdiction) that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Termination

You can stop using Latis and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or if required by law. On termination, live bots are paused; your exchange accounts and assets are unaffected, as Latis never held them.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email; continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
